STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Starke County Sheriff's Office has released new suspect details in a suspected hit and run crash.

Investigators say deputies were dispatched just before 6 p.m. Saturday, June 27 to the area of County Road 350 West and County Road 500 South near North Judson. Officers found the body of 45-year-old Phillip Land of Knox on the scene.

The department says it believes the suspect vehicle is a black 2016-2024 Nissan Titan XD pickup truck, with likely damage to the front passenger-side corner.

The investigation is ongoing.
