The ridge of high pressure moving over the Great Lakes will help bring in warmer and generally sunnier weather today and tomorrow. Temperatures reach the low 50s this afternoon, drop into the mid 30s tonight, and surge into the mid 60s by the second half of tomorrow. Plan on partly to mostly cloudy skies from today through tomorrow night. Thursday is warm and initially quiet with highs quickly rising to the mid 70s. However, a low severe threat is increasing for Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front is expected to be conducive toward widespread thunderstorm development. Some of these storms may be severe late Thursday afternoon or early Thursday evening as of now. Friday is quieter but much cooler in the low 40s.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 50.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy Low 36.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 64.
Thursday: PM thunderstorms. High 74.
