SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The city of South Bend announced that they will be picking up debris left over from heavy beginning October 1 and lasting through October 5.
Crews will sweep up and collect all limb debris and trees that were knocked over from the storm.
City officials ask that you place the debris at the curb of the street — away from cars, trash bins, power lines or any other potential obstructions.
Any remaining debris will not be picked up after this date unless residents call 311 for yard waste pickup.
Tree debris can also be taken to the City’s Organic Resources facility, located at 4340 Trade Drive between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The fee to dispose of debris via the Organic Resources facility will be waived through October 4.
