A beautiful evening is on tap for Michiana, with temperatures falling through the 70s and 60s with mostly clear skies. Overnight lows will end up in the lower 60s.
We'll be dry to start Friday, but severe weather could visit Michiana by Friday evening. We're most concerned with damaging straight-line winds, although hail, heavy rain and isolated tornadoes are also possible. Thunderstorms will last into Saturday morning, with potentially another round of showers and isolated storms moving through Saturday afternoon. The early storms will keep temperatures in the lower 80s for highs on Saturday. Most of us will stay dry on Sunday with highs back in the upper 80s. Afternoon thunderstorms will return on Monday before an extended stretch of near-90 degree weather settles in to end the month.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 63.
Friday: Partly cloudy early. Scattered storms (some severe) possible in the evening. High 90.
Saturday: Thunderstorms likely, especially in the morning. High 83.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with a stray storm possible. High 87.
