ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – A stretch of S.R. 933 will be handed over to St. Joseph County by the state of Indiana.
St. Joseph County and the state have been working on a project for more than a year on the Dixie Highway corridor.
S.R. 933 runs between South Bend and Elkhart for approximately 16 miles.
The new development project will include plans for retail space, office space and new apartments.
The new additions will be visible to motorists taking exit 77 from the Toll Road.
