Students released from school after 2 hour lockdown

Students at Rise Up Academy in South Bend were on lockdown a little over two hours Monday afternoon.

Sue Coney, the Director of Communications for South Bend Community School Corporation says the school was on lockdown because of an incident involving multiple students while on their way to school.

Coney says nothing happened inside the school but one student was removed.

Students were released around 4:10 p.m.
