Happy leap day! Highs are seasonable today right around the 40 mark with sunny skies. Some early morning lake effect snow showers are still bothering portions of Berrien and Cass counties, but those will wrap up by the end of the morning. Tonight, our lows fall into the upper 20s as we stay mostly clear. With the start of meteorological spring tomorrow, highs will approach 50 as sky conditions become cloudier. A small disturbance in the Ohio river valley may trigger short-lived light rain showers for southern Michiana during the day, although that chance is isolated at this point. We fall back into the mid 30s Friday night, but the warm up is on the rest of the weekend. Michiana will come close to 60 by Saturday and then right around 70 on Sunday as we get ready for a possibly wet start to next week.
Today (Leap Day): Sunny. High 40.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 28.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 47.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 58.
