The sunny stretch lasts through midweek along with mild temperatures for mid-October, five to ten degrees above normal. The focus will be on Friday and a fall storm that will bring wind, rain and much cooler weather for the weekend. The gloominess will likely last through Saturday though most of the rain should clear before noon.
