A SWAT situation unfolded at the Extended Stay America in Mishawaka

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A SWAT situation took place at the Extended Stay America in Mishawaka on Sunday morning, according to St. Joseph County Dispatch.
The call came in around 9:03 a.m. for the hotel located at the intersection of Main and Day Road, dispatch said.
One person had allegedly barricaded himself and the entire floor was been evacuated, according to dispatch.
The man in question complied with orders to exit his room on the first floor where locked himself in with his dog, police said.
Police said nobody has died or been injured.
A humane society took the dog and the man is in custody, police said.
