Swoop celebrates a milestone birthday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The rain held off at The Cove for most of the ball game Sunday.
The Silver Hawks took on the Bowling Green Hot Rods in a celebration of sorts.
Sunday was team mascot Swoop's sixteenth birthday!
Mascots from across Michiana including Notre Dame's Leprechaun came out to help him celebrate.
Swoop was even given an Indiana driver's license!
Folks who came out to the game enjoyed the festivities and the atmosphere of the ball park.
"I'm just happy to have a baseball park to go to: one this nice!" said Richard Blume, spectator.
The Silver Hawks ended up losing 10-4.
