MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Some Michiana kids get to take part in a school shopping spree and it's all in thanks to Target and the local Salvation Army.
Together they're helping $12,000 students across the country gear up for the upcoming academic year.
Each child selected by the Salvation Army will get an $80 Target gift card for back-to-school supplies.
Each child will be paired with a volunteer chaperon for their fun day of back-to-school shopping. It kicks off Monday at 9 a.m.
At the Mishawaka Super Target on University Drive.
