Drug task force arrests four people after serving search warrant

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A multi-jurisdictional task force, called NET 43, was created to combat drugs in Kosciusko County. The task force arrested four people on drug charges on Wednesday.

The task force is made up of members of the Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department, and Winona Lake Police Department.

The investigation on Wednesday began after a citizen made a complaint.

A search warrant was served at 121 E. Main Street around noon Wednesday.

Officers seized marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at the home, reports said.

Four people were taken into custody as a result of the investigation.

Ryan Truex-Volitch, 28 of Atwood, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and visiting a common nuisance.

Robin Truex, 56 of Atwood, was arrested on a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance.

Mandy Fleming, 43 of Mishawka, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, and visiting a common nuisance.  Fleming also was arrested for an active warrant out of St. Joseph County, Indiana.

Ronald Truex, 55 of Atwood, was arrested on preliminary charges of habitual traffic violator-life, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a synthetic drug or lookalike substance, and maintaining a common nuisance.

All arrested were taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.
