South Bend locals take matters into their own hands as they wait...
SOUTH BEND, Ind. –A new tattoo parlor opened on Miami Street in South Bend today despite the pandemic sweeping the nation.
The parlor is called “Legend Inkcorporated” and the owner says he came up with the idea almost three months ago.
The owner, Zachary Toombs, is not a professional tattoo artist himself, but wanted to create an outlet for his appreciation of artful ink.
“I actually know quite a few tattoo artists, but I’m not one myself,” Toombs said. “I love the art, I grew up around it and I think it’s a way to express yourself like no other.”
The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 8 p.m.
