Teen drowns in Lake Michigan

WHITING, Ind. -- Divers found the body of 18-year-old Jose Alcazar in Lake Michigan Tuesday. He disappeared while swimming near Whihala Beach County Park in Whiting, Indiana.
Alcazar disappeared after he and some friends jumped off a pier, and got swept into a current.
He was found just 47-feet from the pier.
Rescue crews say jumping off a pier can be especially dangerous in Lake Michigan because the structures cause rip currents that pull people under quickly.
