80-degree weather to start the week
A brief break from the 90s continues today with temperatures rising from the 60s this morning into the mid 80s this afternoon. Although we'll see partly cloudy skies, the UV index will still be high, especially during the early afternoon. Partial cloudiness lasts overnight with lows falling into the low to mid 60s by tomorrow morning. The rest of our Sunday is heating up as highs rise into the lower 90s again, we should see some more sunshine with a few clouds for Father's Day. The rising temperatures continue into the work week with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Dew points in the mid to upper 60s will leave us feeling muggy, feels-like temperatures have a good chance of touching triple digits. It's possible that we see a pop-up thunderstorm by Monday evening, but the main impact will be the heat and humidity. This will be the case through much of the upcoming work week with a heat wave taking hold. Our most likely time to see pop-up thunderstorms looks to be Tuesday evening, but the threat should stay isolated. Highs in the 90s stick around through next weekend, take care of yourself and remember to stay hydrated!
Today: Partly cloudy. High 84.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 63.
Sunday (Father's Day): Mostly sunny. High 92.
Monday: Partly cloudy. Hot and humid. High 96.
