Texas teen discovers deceased baby inside car

DALLAS — A Texas teenager broke into a car to free a baby that was left inside. By the time the teen discovered what was happening, the infant was dead.

The baby, Victoria Marks, just turned a year old on Friday.

The teen who spotted the infant tried to break in to rescue her with anything she could find.

"I found a 2x4 in my truck and so I immediately broke the window to get the baby out and it still wasn't moving," said Exenia Gomez.

The infant's mother is in jail and has been charged with child endangerment.
