AG Days kicks off this weekend aiming to teach families and kids...
CASS COUNTY, Mich. – The Chamber of Commerce hosted the Harvest Moon Festival in downtown Dowagiac on Saturday.
The event showcased Michigan-grown produce, antiques and other goods, with vendors setting up all along South Front Street in Dowagiac.
Even with the cold onset of fall, the streets were filled during the festival, with activities across the event that allowed families to paint pumpkins, play with animals and listen to a local band.
“There’s been a lot of people regardless of the weather even this morning it was chillier there was still tons of people out and kids so the weather doesn’t hold anybody back they just keep coming out,” said Kim Dagostino, a first time booth holder from Johnston Farms.
Dagostino says she hopes more cities hold events like this to bring communities together.
