The heat and humidity break as a cold front moves through the area Wednesday morning. The timing is what scuddles a severe threat for Michiana. Any storms after midnight will arrive weakened and in decline, and a few showers linger as the front slides through. This could be a lackluster round of rain. The rest of the week is mild, with highs in the 70s, warming back to 80 by Sunday. The next chance of rain/storms is Monday of next week.

Tonight: Thunderstorms possible after midnight. Scattered showers. Low 66.
Wednesday: Few showers in the morning. PM clouds break. High 70.
Thursday: Slight chance of morning showers, partly cloudy. High 70.
Friday: Sunny. High 76.
