While the heatwave is over, conditions will still be warm and humid for most of today across Michiana. An incoming trough and attendant surface low will drag a cold front through the area in the second half of today, prompting a broken line of showers and storms to develop. A few storms may be severe today, but our area will more likely see strong thunderstorms embedded within the line this afternoon. The greatest storm potential is 2 PM to midnight today with the main concerns being gusty winds and downpours. Quiet, sunny, and warmer than normal weather occupies the rest of this week with highs routinely in the mid to upper 80s and lows in the mid to upper 60s.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 86.
Tonight: Scattered storms. Low 67.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 81.
Wednesday: Sunny High 85.
