Three Concord teachers placed on leave after police seize phones

Three Concord High School teachers have been placed on leave after police seized their personal phones as part of the investigation into teacher Andrew Cowells, according to Concord Community Schools.

On Monday, the Concord Community Schools Police Department obtained search warrants related to the investigation into Cowells. On Tuesday, those search warrants were served on three high school teachers and their personal phones were turned over.

The school district has placed those three teachers on leave during the investigation.
