Thursday's severe threat is low but not zero

Thursday will start on the muggy side, before a cold front drops temperatures into the afternoon. Along with that front there's a chance for storms and possibly severe weather.
After early morning showers a second round of storms could fire around noon Thursday. Michiana will be the starting point of a line of storm that will build east into Ohio.
With the early timing, the severe risk for Thursday is much greater to our east.
The risk is low but not zero. Widespread severe weather is not expected but a few cells could produce gusty wind and hail.
