Tippecanoe Place to hold Summer Murder Mystery Dinner

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Tippecanoe Place Restaurant has partnered with Murder by Design to bring a Summer Murder Mystery Dinner to Michiana residents on Saturday.

The murder-mystery-themed event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and places guests into a fictional investigation.

Participants are given a character to play with a personal history, and are provided with rumors about other guests, with an end goal of solving a murder.

The “Hearts Desire” dinner ‘s setting takes place in 1935, with the following description: “You are invited to attend the anniversary party celebrating the marriage of Mayor Derek Ross and his lovely wife, Nanette. They will be celebrating 20 years of wedded bliss…but, everything is not as it seems.”

Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and besides the game, includes a dinner menu provided by Tippecanoe Place Restaurant.

The menu features prime rib, North Atlantic salmon, chicken marsala and pasta primavera as well as a garden salad and New York-style cheesecake for dessert.
