TMA to host fall frolic 2k and 5k on October 18 to support the homeless early childhood classroom

The Montessori Academy Edison Lakes

MISHAWAKA, Ind. --  The Montessori Academy Edison Lakes, in partnership with The South Bend Center for the Homeless, is hosting their annual fall frolic 2K and 5K.

The Montessori Academy has hosted the annual Fall Frolic 2K/5K since 1998, and the community event unites the school, the Winding Brook neighborhood, the Center for the Homeless, and the broader Michiana community to change the course of homelessness for young children

The Fall frolic 5K run raises funds to support a one-of-a-kind Montessori Early Childhood classroom for preschool children aged 3-6 experiencing homelessness. The event has been taking place since 1998 and will return this year on October 18. The Frolic features a timed 5K run, a family 2K run, and a family festival with all types of fall activities.

The registration fee for the race is $45, and you can register up until 9:30 on the day of the race. The festival participation fee is $10 per family and can be paid by credit card on the website or in cash on the day of the race.
