Transpo will operate on a reduced service schedule due to COVID-19

SOUTH BEND, Ind.— The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (Transpo) announced Thursday that it will begin operating a reduced service schedule due to COVID-19.

The reduced Monday through Friday service schedule will go into effect on Monday, April 6.

Services will run Monday through Friday from abut 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with one hour frequency on most routes.

Saturday schedules will remain the same and Transpo will continue to be closed on Sundays.

Transpo and the Interurban Trolley, operated by MACOG, will jointly run Route 9 and the Yellow Line to maintain regular service between South Bend, Mishawaka, and Elkhart. 

New timetables for all routes will be available on sbtranspo.com on Friday, April 3.

Transpo’s Information Line will be available Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 574-233-2131
