SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The culprits in two illegal trash dumps in South Bend have been caught.
Code enforcement took action Wednesday after pictures were shared of the illegal activitiy.
It started Tuesday night, when a woman posted photos to a South Bend Facebook group, of a suspect dumping mattresses behind the Portage Meat & Market.
A South Bend Code Enforcement employee saw the photos and investigated.
By Wednesday afternoon, code enforcement had cleaned up the mess made in three different dumps.
The city says they also suspects in two dumps, who will be charged between $250 and $500 dollars.
