Tuesday night shooting leaves man injured in Michigan City, suspect at large
ABC 57 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- A 34-year-old man is recovering from a gunshot wound to his left leg following a shooting Tuesday night in the 3000 block of Springland Avenue.
Michigan City police say dispatch received a call around 10 p.m. regarding a person being shot on Springland Avenue.
Officers arrived to find the victim.
Responding officers provided medical care to the man before he was taken to Franciscan Health Hospital in Michigan City with a non-life-threatening injury.
Investigators processed several scenes for evidence and spoke with multiple witnesses.
More witnesses are being interviewed in attempt to identify a suspect or suspects.
Police are also looking for any video surveillance footage which may have captured the shooting.
