MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka school district honored two of their teachers with “Teacher of the Year” awards.
Teacher Appreciation Week continues as Kaleb Chamberlin and Robyn Futa are honored with the award at their respective teaching levels.
Chamberlin teaches band at Mishawaka High School and John Young Middle School.
Colleagues agree with the decision by complimenting Chamberlin on his ability to make each child feel like they are the most important student in the classroom.
At the elementary school level, Futa was privileged with the award.
Futa teaches third grade at Beiger Elementary School.
