CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- At approximately 4:37 p.m. on Sunday evening, the deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Townhall Road south of Downey Street in Silver Creek Township. 

The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old male was southbound on Townhall Road and a vehicle driven by a 50-year-old male was northbound on Townhall Road. 

The two vehicles sideswiped as they passed each other. 

The 24-year-old driver was transported by SCAS Ambulance to Dowagiac Beacon Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

The 50-year-old driver did not sustain any injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation.
