United Federal Credit Union holds groundbreaking in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- United Federal Credit Union has announced plans to add branches in Mishawaka, Granger and Toscana Park.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. Oct. 30, the UFCU team gathered to break ground across from Meijer in Mishawaka on Bremen Highway.

According to UFCU, the projects will allow the company to expand with more planned in the next several years.

UFCU has its headquarters located in Berrien County, Michgan.

Once the branches open they will offer a host of services including mortgages, debit and credit cards, checking accounts, investment planning, loans, and business lending.

UFCU President and CEO Terry O'Rourke said, "These new locations are not just an opportunity for us to better serve this community, they also deliver on United's promise to continue to grow here." He adds, "Our commitment to Mishawaka and the Greater Michiana area is one we all take pride in. We're already serving members at our Edison Lakes and Ireland Road branches and we are eager to make a difference in even more people's lives with the addition of these locations."
