Unruly guest at Pla-Mor Campground under arrest after allegedly kicking at officer
Marshall County Jail MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- An alleged drunken and unruly guest at Pla-Mor Campground was charged with Battery Against a Public Safety Official and Intimidation after resisting police Saturday, May 23.
Ariel Amaya, the 29-year-old guest, was charged with Battery Against a Public Safety Official with Injury as a Level 5 Felony, Intimidation as a Level 6 Felony, Indecent Exposure as a class A Misdemeanor, Resisting Law Enforcement as a class A Misdemeanor, and Disorderly Public Intoxication as a class B Misdemeanor.
Around 3:34 p.m. Saturday, May 23, Marshall County Police were dispatched to Pla-Mor Campground for reports of a guest threatening the other guests and urinating in public.
The accused guest, Amaya, allegedly became aggressive when police spoke to him, and he was detained.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, during his detainment, he tried to bite and threatened to kill the officers, kicking at one.
Amaya was then taken to the Marshall County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000.
