U.S. unemployment drops to lowest rate in more than two years

There is positive news for the U.S. economy.

The unemployment rate has dropped to 8.6 percent. That's the lowest it's been in more than two years, and there's more good news from the latest ADP report.

American employers created 120,000 jobs last month. The report also says private sector hiring is up, and strong holiday sales are also helping the economy.

There are still concerns, the future of the economy is also linked to Europe’s ability to avoid a financial meltdown.
