NILES, Mich. -- A stolen truck was crashed into the side of a gun shop, which allowed several suspects to get inside the store.
Niles Police responded to a burglar alarm at The Firing Pin on N. 5th Street around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived, officers discovered a truck had crashed into the building, giving them access to the inside of the gun shop.
The building was searched and officers discovered several firearms were missing from the store.
The suspects had already fled.
The owners of the gun shop are completing an inventory to determine what was taken.
Police spoke with the owner of the truck who said his vehicle was stolen overnight from his residence. He had left the keys inside the unlocked vehicle.
A cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest of the suspects in this case.
