Inspection records show conditions at shuttered Red Rock Inn
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Police were called to a crash involving a vehicle and six students attending Holy Cross College at S.R. 933 and Dorr Road.
Authorities learned the vehicle was turning left onto S.R. 933 from Dorr Road, striking the pedestrians in the crosswalk around 5:15 p.m. today.
Three of the six students were transported to Memorial Hospital by Medics. The victims sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
Holy Cross College at Notre Dame released a statement:
"Earlier this evening, a vehicle struck Holy Cross College students near campus. Emergency personnel responded immediately, and the students are receiving medical attention." said Matt Palmer, Associate Vice President for Integrated Marketing and Communications.
The statement also says the students' names or further details will not be released at this time.
