SOUTH BEND, Ind.— The St.Joseph County Fatal Crash Team released the names of those involved in the crash on Western Avenue that left one critically injured and two dead.
South Bend Police were dispatched to the scene around 3:31 a.m. to find a maroon Saturn had crashed into two unoccupied, parked cars.
The passengers, Mauricio Angulo Dominguez, 23, and Marco Angulo Dominguez, 29, were killed during the crash.
The driver, 20-year-old Angel Alberto De La Rosa, suffered a head injury and remains in critical condition at Memorial Hospital.
Police say speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
Per protocol, the St.Joseph County Fatal Crash Team (FACT) will continue to investigate the crash.
Autopsies will be conducted Monday, December 24th for Marco and Mauricio Angulo Dominguez.
