ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A vigil is planned for a Notre Dame student who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.
Sophomore Spencer Vermeule died after his car crashed into a tree while he was traveling on County Road 8 in Elkhart County on Saturday night.
The service will take place at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
