Wa-Nee Community Schools announce reopening plan

Wa-Nee Community Schools have delayed the start of their school year by two days. Students will return to in-person or virtual classes on August 17.

The school board approved the plan to waive the first two days of instruction, August 13 and 14, to allow students and staff to prepare for the school year.

The days will not need to be made up.

The district asks parents and students to use August 13 and 14 to pick up student devices, become familiar with the new learning management software, Canvas, and prepare for school.
