How to keep yourself and others protected during firework season
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Officers with the South Bend Police Department were alerted to a walk-in gunshot wound victim at a local hospital around 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
Officials tell us the shooting occurred in the 3200 block of Lincoln Way West.
The victim had a minor injury, was treated and released.
SBPD's Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating. No information on a suspect has been shared at this time.
