Today has been a fairly sunny and quiet day. The streak of quiet weather will continue, accompanied by increasing temperatures through Tuesday. Persistent breezy southerly winds will not only bring in warmer air, but also 60-degree dew points. Warmer air and moisture welcome showers and thunderstorms Monday night through early Wednesday. There is an opportunity for strong to severe storms in the upper Great Lakes on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Confidence is low as of now. Temperatures crash after Tuesday with a passing cold front. The rest of the week looks to be wet with scattered rain chances through the weekend.
