Warsaw Police asking for help with death investigation

WARSAW, Ind. -- Warsaw Police are asking for the public's help determining the whereabouts of a man in the hours before he was found unresponsive on Lake Street during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 7.

Police responded to the 700 block of Lake Street at 2:21 a.m. Sunday, along with EMS, after 27-year-old Matthew Hoshal was discovered off the southwest side of the road, unresponsive.

Hoshal was transported to a hospital in Fort Wayne where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police say Hoshal is a white male, 6-feet tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a gray Nike t-shirt that said 'Just Do It.'

Warsaw Police would like anyone who knows of Hoshal's whereabouts from Saturday April 6 through early Sunday April 7 to contact the Warsaw Police Department Detective Division at (574) 385-2211.
