Bolingbrook stayed strong early, giving the panthers problems outside.

Yahaira Bueno she finished with 13 points, 9 of them coming from beyond the arc.

“This is why we schedule the best that we can. Bolingbrook, is known for being a perineal powerhouse,” said Head Coach Steve Reynolds.

They raiders didn’t finish the first half that way, trailing 39-26, no thanks to Washington sophomore Kira Reynolds having her way on the boards and in the paint with 23 points and a handful of blocks on the side.

“I knew I had to step up when my dad told me to bring up the ball.

We knew they were going to be tough but I feel like we had prepared for them in the scouting reports, practices and stuff. I wasn’t too worried we watched the play two times,” Reynolds mentioned.

The game only got better as time went on.

Bolingbrook made a strong effort to come back during the fourth quarter after getting some shots to fall and a few turnovers but the panthers stayed resilient, finishing the game with a 69-63 win and advancing to 14-0.

As for how they performed in their closest win margin of the season, Reynolds had a report card as an assessment and says his girls deserve a break.

“This game man, you know, I it was a solid beat. It was a solid beat. But only because man again. The thing is, is I’ll give them extra credit. All right, because they just fought through a lot,” said Reynolds.

“Imma tell you what we need. We need a break. Like we've been going at it like we've been practicing everyday like we've been working hard. We've been trying to look out until December where we want it to really try to prove ourselves, you know, and that’s what we need,” Reynolds added.

The Panthers won’t play again until December 29th when they take on Winchester in the Lady Tiger Classic in Warsaw.
