Water main breaks in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, Ind. -- Crews spent the afternoon on Tuesday digging up a water main break in Syracuse.

Police said the water main broke sometime during the morning.

Passerbys noticed water coming bubbling out of the ground on State Road 13 near the town hall.

The police chief said he thinks it was probably a case of aging pipes.

At this point, it's not clear how long it will take to fix the leak.
