Weapon rumors at Mishawaka High School football game lead to removal of juveniles

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka High School announced on Friday night during the football game, a group of juveniles, who aren't MHS students, were escorted off campus following a disturbance stemming from rumors of a weapon on site.

Officers with the Mishawaka Police Department were called to assist and after an investigation, authorities said no weapon was found.

School officials reiterated there were no gunshots, and no guns were ever found.
