A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Berrien and Cass Counties in Michigan, as well as LaPorte, St. Joseph and Elkhart counties in Indiana until 1 AM Monday for Elkhart County, 1 PM Monday for the rest of the aforementioned counties. Widespread snow continues through most of the day today, with more intense bands overnight. Consistent light snow is expected, adding 1-2 inches to what is already on the ground through the day today. Breezy conditions pick up into the evening hours with snow to become less widespread and take more of a banding effect. Heavier snow in select areas, mainly east of US-31, expect the Monday morning commute to be on the more treacherous side, particularly for the counties listed in the Winter Weather Advisory. Snow chances taper off through the day on Monday, fully wrapping up closer to the sunset hours. Another chance for precipitation comes in the middle of the week, likely snow, but we could see a slight warm up as well.
Today: Snow continues through the day, breeze picks up later. High 30.
