Woman charged in crash that killed motorcyclist on Mishawaka Avenue, 31st Street

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A 28-year-old South Bend woman has been charged in connection with a crash that killed a motorcyclist at the intersection of Mishawaka Avenue and 31st Street in September 2022, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecutors charged Shambreka Hall with one count of reckless homicide, one count of operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the blood and one count of causing death when operating a motor vehicle.

She was charged in connection with the death of 32-year-old Dale Womack Jr. on September 22, 2022.

Hall herself was not injured in the crash and cooperated with investigators at the scene.
