Woman found dead in Elkhart home, police investigating as homicide

UPDATE: Police have charged Thompson's husband, 36-year-old Matthew Thompson, with murder in connection with her death, according to court documents.

ELKHART, Ind. - Elkhart police are investigating after a 27-year-old woman was found dead from several injuries at a home on Cone Street.
Police identified the woman as Ciarra Thompson. She was found dead just after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
There is no immediate threat to the public, police reported.
