Woman taken to hospital after car accident

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — Medics rushed a woman to the hospital after her car slammed into a concrete retaining wall.
It happened Sunday night around 11:45 on Ashton Pines Drive in Elkhart County.
Officers said the 23-year-old woman was driving southbound when her brakes failed.
Officers said her car crossed over Country Road 26 and slammed into the wall.
She is expected to be ok.
