Word record basketball game being held for Joplin tornado victims

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- A 110-hour basketball game is underway in downtown St. Louis.

Twenty-four men are raising money for victims of last May’s tornado in Joplin. If all goes according to plan, this basketball game will go on for days.

The game started at 5 Tuesday morning. It’s supposed to end Sunday evening. If they go the distance, it will be a Guinness Book world record.

Each player is expected to be on the court for 12 hours a day.
