Workshop teaches how to build nest boxes for small birds

Elkhart County Parks ELKHART, Ind. -- Create your very own nest box for some small nesting birds, Chickadees, House Wrens, and Warblers on Feb. 13 at Bonneyville Mill.
The box is designed to keep the larger House Sparrows and Starlings away.
The event is 5 p.m.to 6 p.m. and is $12 per box.
All materials will be provided along with tips on proper placement for success.
Please bring a battery-powered drill if you have one.
Participants must preregister by Feb. 9.
