DETROIT -- Thin mints, caramel delights, peanut butter patties...take your pick. It's time to forget that New Year's resolution to lose weight because it's Girl Scout cookie time.
100,000 cases of cookies were delivered to a warehouse in Detroit in preparation for the sales.
The Scouts said the cookies sales helps girls learn money management, people skills, and confidence.
They have been selling cookies as their main fundraiser since 1917.
