16-year-old stabbed in South Bend

South Bend Police responded to a stabbing at Sherman and Rose Street Thursday afternoon.

Captain Phil Trent says a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest at a Rose Street home.

The case has been handed over to the Special Victims Unit because part of the investigation involves a domestic dispute.

Police say a loaded gun was also involved in today's stabbing.
